Why was the law given at Mt Sinai? Did the church in 1888 need to know why God gave the law? Is the law still relevant for us today? Is it a command, or a promise? You may be surprised at what you hear in this sermon, but it is the word of God spoken through His messengers.
What must I do to be saved? Believe? Only believe? Is it that simple? This sermon will answer that question. What does it mean to believe? How do I believe? This was not understood by the church in 1888 and the following years. But God was trying to show His people how much He loved them, and what He was willing to do, and had already done, in order that they might be saved.
Ellen White says that when the loud cry is given, the new converts will have but a few months to prepare for Jesus return. There is only one truth that can do this.
